I should know by now that when I get an email from Sephora, I should delete it immediately! Not for any poor reason, however 95% of Sephora emails that come my way have some special "bonus" attached, prompting me to splurge once again at the beloved make-up haven. This time was no different whatsoever! When I received an email with a digital $15 gift card attached, I went straight to town!
First on my list of items to try was the infamous NARS lipgloss, "Turkish Delight". This color is described as a
Pink Sherbet with an ultra smooth, non-sticky formula. This color has been coined as a beauty cult classic, and I must say, from my first impression, it is very clear why!
Next I picked up another lipgloss by NARS in the color "Albatross", not to be confused with the brand's popular highlighter. The brand labels this color as a
vintage luminous glow. Although this description leaves quite a bit to the imagination, the color is a beautiful frosty clear with gold shimmers running throughout.
The next item I scooped up was an adorable mini duo or NARS' orgasm blush and laguna bronzer. (quite the NARS extravaganza over here...) I am a tried and true lover of the laguna bronzer and use it everyday. I figured this mini duo would be perfect for travel because the compact size decreases the chances of shattering significantly! Also, the mini version of cult-classic Orgasm, was a nice bonus to try. I own 4 NARS blushes already, however, the infamous Orgasm isn't one of them! Shocker!
Finally, I treated myself to a little Dior present! Cue the ooh la-las! This set comes with a full size Diorshow New Look mascara and a mini 5-shadow palette! The colors in the eyeshadow palette are absolutely stunning and perfect for everyday wear (mine came with a little ding in it but eh-you win some you lose some), and I am always game to try a new mascara!
